This is an Eastern long-necked turtle that our guest Franck managed to photograph on a branch down at Andelain, our picnic area by the creek.
She’s been living in a waterhole on Byron Creek as long as we’ve owned the place but it’s the first time anyone’s managed to capture her on camera at such close range.
We’re very chuffed but we still haven’t come up with a name for her.
What do you think we should call her?
