Terms & conditions

General

Your booking is confirmed only upon our receipt of payment or proof of payment.

Any additional charges must be settled in full in cash on the night prior to your departure.

Pay-3 stay-4 special is available Sun-Wed nights only.  It is not available in peak periods or the Sunday night of public holiday weekends. It is not valid with any other discount options.

Credit card payments attract a 3% surcharge.

Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am unless otherwise negotiated. A late check-out may be negotiable if no one is checking into your room on the day of your departure. We reserve the right to charge a fee for late check-outs.

Most of our room rates require a minimum of two nights’ stay. If you only have one night to spare, call us the day beforehand and we will be happy to accommodate you if we have a room free. An additional surcharge may apply for single night bookings. Public holidays and Easter have a 3-night minimum. Xmas-New Year has a 5-night minimum stay.

On NSW and Qld public holidays, the night before the public holiday is charged at the weekend rate (except peak periods or special event packages where the surcharge is incorporated in the rate).

Booking information

Please note your booking is NOT confirmed until you receive our booking confirmation email.

Our preferred method of payment is by direct credit to our bank account. Once you select your dates you will receive an email containing our bank account details.

Alternatively, you may pay via credit card using PayPal. If this is your preferred form of payment, please let us know and we will issue you with an email invoice, which must be paid in full to confirm your booking. Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard or direct debit from your bank account. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service.

Your room will be held for 3 working days pending our receipt of your payment or proof of payment. Failure to make payment or provide proof of payment in this timeframe could result in the room being resold.

PayPal bookings attract a 3% surcharge, reflecting the commission that PayPal charges us.

If you are unable to make electronic payment, please phone us to discuss alternative methods.

Nudity

At Revelwood clothing is almost always optional

You are welcome to get your gear off over much of our very private 20 acres. This includes in and around the house, between Byron Creek and Revelwood Creek and other spots marked on the map which is provided at check-in.

Your hosts are regular nudists and it is not uncommon to see us naked.

There is no requirement for guests to be nude but if you have not been naked in a social setting before, we encourage you to try it. Many gay guys suffer body image issues. Getting naked in the company of other guys is a great way to start feeling ‘comfortable in your own skin’. First timers often report a feeling of freedom or even liberation on shedding their clothes.

An important issue for many first-time naturists is the knowledge that they will be free from unwanted attention. We are delighted to see romances and attractions bloom at Revelwood, however social nudity in and of itself should not be seen as an invitation for sex.

So that we stay on good terms with our neighbours, we ask that guests do not walk nude in view of the road. NSW law prosecutes offenders who can be seen nude from a public place such as a road.

In keeping with naturist etiquette, we supply a ‘sitting towel’ to place between you and the furniture when you are naked.

All of our tradespeople are gay friendly and aware of our clothing-optional policy. Nevertheless, in the event of tradespeople or professional services being required onsite, we endeavour to advise our guests at the earliest possible opportunity.

Spa and pool information

For the comfort of all guests, pool & pool deck hours are 8:00am to 10:30pm.

Spa Hours are 3:00pm to 10:30pm. We begin to turn off decorative lights at 10:20 as a signal to guests of the impending closure.

  • Keep it clean – please shower before entering the spa.
  • Short is sweet – 20 mins is the optimum time, less if you’ve imbibed alcohol, amyl or Viagra.
  • Broken glass is low class – plastic cups only in the aquatic area please.
  • Delay your play – enjoy “meating” new friends, but body fluids and spas don’t mix.
  • Don’t be a dizzy queen – if you feel groggy ask someone for help.
  • We’d rather be nude – clothing, including swimwear, is not permitted in our spa. We think it’s more hygienic, and it’s certainly more fun!
Alcohol and attitude

Everything in moderation…

Revelwood is a venue for men to enjoy one another’s company in a laid-back and low-key environment. Alcohol is BYO and moderation is encouraged. We are required under the laws of NSW to follow RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) guidelines. Legally we are obliged to ask guests to stop drinking if we deem that they are intoxicated to an unsafe level. On the spot fines by the police of up to $11,000 are applicable.

We will not tolerate binge drinking, harassment, racism or bigotry. Any guest exhibiting offensive and/or unsafe behaviour or refusing to comply with instructions from staff will be ejected from Revelwood. If necessary, our security company will be called in to remove offensive guests from the premises. The cost of any security call-out will be billed to the guest and no refund will be provided on the balance of their stay.

Visitors

Revelwood is a homestay for our guests only. It is not a hotel/motel.

As a clothing-optional retreat, the security, privacy and personal comfort of our guests are our highest priority.

To ensure this, Revelwood is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC except on special occasions.

This means NO DAY FEES, NO guests arriving on ‘ON SPEC’ and NO ‘JUST LOOKING’ visitors.

People in the above categories – and anyone who arrives without a pre-paid booking – will be turned away.

Guests wishing to bring friends to visit the property must pre-arrange it with management for a mutually convenient time. Visitors, like guests, must complete our check-in procedure and supply photo ID.
