Revelwood is close to the beaches, nightlife and attractions of Byron Bay, and just five minutes' drive from beautiful, historic Bangalow.

Yet our property is wonderfully secluded, ideal for naturalists and naturists alike.

Revelwood is an easy 2-hour drive from Brisbane and approximately 8 hours from Sydney.

Fly/drive to Revelwood

Discount airlines Virgin Blue and Jetstar both fly to Gold Coast and Ballina airports. Fares are very competitive, especially outside of school holidays.

If you are flying, a rental car is by far the most popular and easiest way to reach us. Details of car rental operators can be found on the airport websites.

Beware There are some unscrupulous no-name rental companies offering dodgy deals on their websites. We have heard tales of car park assignations, people discovering their car is 10 years old or more, and cases where the "optional" insurance cost more than the car hire.

We have used Ned Kellys Car Rentals and were happy with their price and service. They are located directly outside the airport but offer a pick-up on request. No, we don't receive a commission from them!

Airport shuttles

Byron Easy Bus provides twice daily shuttle services from Brisbane CBD as well as Brisbane and Gold Coast airports direct to Bangalow.

There is currently no regular airport shuttle from Ballina airport to Bangalow but Xcede provides a $30/head airport transfer which must be booked in advance.

Alternatively, we will meet you at Ballina Airport or Byron Bay bus terminal for $25/head, subject to prior confirmation of our availability.

We provide a complimentary shuttle from Revelwood to Bangalow.
